Try it yourself

Get the demo on your own phone.

This is the real Recallist agent, the same one that messages your patients. The best way to feel it is the way a patient does: it texts your phone, you reply however you like, and you book yourself in. Pick a time, ask for an afternoon, ask the price, or say no and see how it takes it.

Your practice, your agent

That was our sample practice.
Yours gets its own agent.

Not a shared bot with your name pasted on. Every practice gets an agent that is theirs: their voice, their diary, their answers.

It speaks as your practice

Every message comes from your practice by name, on your own dedicated number. On WhatsApp it carries your practice name and your logo.

It offers your real times

Your opening hours, your clinics, your appointment lengths. Patients are only ever offered times you actually have.

It runs your recall scheme

Your recall types and your intervals: sight tests, contact lens checks, whatever your practice runs, at the gaps you set.

You teach it yourself

Your prices, your parking, your services: type a fact once in your dashboard and the agent knows it from the next conversation on.

It only says what you've told it

Anything you haven't taught it goes straight to your team instead of being made up. The agent shares your facts; it never invents them.

Your team stays in charge

Escalations, booking confirmations and alerts go to your staff, and you can read every conversation your agent has ever had.

Built for independents

The chains have a retention machine.
Now you do too.

Specsavers, Vision Express and Boots don't keep their chairs full by luck. They have CRMs, call centres and marketing teams working every recall. You give more personal care and still lose patients to them, simply because no one has time to work the list. Recallist closes that gap.

In your name

Every message sounds like your practice: warm and personal, never a faceless third party.

A fraction of the cost

The recall firepower of a big group, without the call centre, the CRM or the marketing team.

Your patients stay yours

Your brand, your relationships, your data, never shared, never poached.

Alan Bryden, optometrist and co-founder of Recallist

Alan Bryden

Optometrist, co-founder

Alan is a UK-registered optometrist who has run an independent practice for two decades. The problem he kept returning to was recall: patients reminded but never booked, lapsed patients lost in the database, and staff time swallowed chasing appointments a one-way text was never going to secure. Recallist is his answer, built by an optometrist who has lived the problem.

Chris McLaughlin, technology co-founder of Recallist

Chris McLaughlin

Technology, co-founder

Chris has spent two decades in technology, fifteen of them at one of the world's largest healthcare companies, building robust and scalable automation. His focus is AI and end to end automation, applied to the problem Alan spent twenty years living with. He built Recallist to run itself, whether it is one practice or five hundred.

What we do

Recall is a discipline.
We're the specialists.

Every practice has a recall list, and a much bigger list of patients who lapsed and were quietly forgotten. Almost none work either properly. We do nothing else but turn both into booked appointments.

01

We reach every patient

Everyone due for recall gets a warm, personal message in your name, then a gentle nudge if they go quiet. Persistent, never pushy.

02

We win back the ones you'd written off

Not just this month's recalls, but the patients who lapsed a year, two years, three years ago and quietly fell off the list. They're still reachable, and they're often your biggest untapped pool. We run a one-off sweep to bring them back.

03

We hold the conversation

Not a one-shot reminder. A real exchange that answers questions, handles "not Tuesdays", offers real times, and books the slot.

Mornings only, not Tuesdays Wed 9:00 or Thu 9:00, either suit? Wednesday 👍
04

We prove the return

One dashboard, one number: appointments recovered and exactly what they were worth. You see the revenue, every month.

£2,400recovered in a single week
The difference

A reminder is a message in a bottle. Ours is a conversation you can watch.

You send a recall text today and then you wait, hoping. Did it arrive? Did they read it? Will they book? You never find out. You just notice the diary stays empty. We replace the hoping with knowing.

The return

Watch the recovered revenue climb.

From the first week, the patients we bring back start adding up. This is what the months after switching on Recallist tend to look like.

Getting started

Up and running in under 5 days.

No long IT project, no disruption to your practice. From the day you say yes, here's how quickly we go live.

1
Day 1

We connect

You send us an example recall export from your system. We set up your numbers, branding and message style.

2
Days 2 to 3

You approve

We show you exactly how Recallist will sound in your practice's name. You read every message type and tweak anything.

3
Day 4

Shadow run

We run your real recall list with nothing sending, so you can see it working safely before a single patient is contacted.

4
Day 5

Go live

You switch it on. Recallist starts booking, and the recovered revenue starts showing on your dashboard.

Five working days is typical, assuming we can access an example recall export and your booking system in good time. Some practices are quicker; a few take a little longer depending on your software. We'll always give you a clear timeline before you commit to anything.
Safe by design

Automated, never reckless.

GDPR-safe

Opt-outs are honoured instantly and for good. A patient who says stop is never contacted again.

A human steps in

Anything beyond a routine booking (a question or a complaint) is handed straight to your team.

Young patients protected

Under-18s are recognised automatically and addressed to a parent or guardian, never the child.

Talk to us

Every plan starts with a free shadow week: we run your real recall list, but nothing sends until you've read and approved how it sounds. Lapsed win-back is pay-per-result: patients more than 6 months past their recall date, or long unseen where no recall date is recorded, swept once and paced month by month. £20 per win-back success: a patient 18 months or more since their last visit who actually books. No booking, no fee. Founding-practice rates shown, held for two years for our founding group; list pricing is £299 and £399.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to our servers.

Questions

The things practices ask us

Does it work with my practice management system?

Yes. You upload a simple export from whatever you use (iCareWeb, Optix, Flex and others) straight into your dashboard, so there's no integration project and no IT work. We never need direct access to your system.

Is it GDPR-compliant?

Yes. We only message patients who have valid contact details and service consent, opt-outs are honoured instantly and permanently, and we hold the minimum data needed to run your recall. Your PMS stays the system of record.

Do patients know they're talking to an automation?

It speaks warmly in your practice's name. If a patient asks directly whether they're talking to a person or a computer, it answers honestly. Anything beyond booking (a clinical question or a complaint) is handed straight to your team.

Will it ever double-book my diary?

No. It only ever offers the times you've set, and you choose how bookings land: straight into the diary, or pencilled in for your team to confirm. It never writes into your practice system.

What does it cost?

Founding practices join from £199 a month (list £299) with every message included, no per-text charges, no setup fee, cancel any time. Most practices recover more than the monthly cost from two returning patients. The lapsed win-back sweep is pay-per-result: you only pay for patients who actually come back.

How long does it take to get started?

Usually under five working days, including a free shadow week where it runs your real recall list with nothing sending, so you can see and approve exactly how it sounds before a single patient is contacted.

Is it OK to message patients who lapsed years ago?

Yes, within sensible limits. These are your own existing patients, and a win-back is covered by the "soft opt-in" for existing customers, with a clear opt-out in every message. By default we sweep only patients seen in the last 36 months and pace the list month by month rather than blasting it, you stay in control of that window, and anyone who opts out is never contacted again.

Where is my data held?

In the UK and EU. We hold only the minimum needed to run your recall, opt-outs are honoured permanently, and your practice management system stays the system of record. We never need direct access to it.

Stop letting good patients slip away.

We're taking on a small group of founding practices: hands-on setup, founder pricing held for two years, your recovered revenue measured from day one.
